Junior Designer Jobs

We are a Flatiron based, architectural sign design and production management firm that specializes in high-end residential and hospitality projects. Our principal has been in the field for 20+ years and we have a stellar project/client base. We’re looking for a motivated creative to join our small team, who is ready to get involved with all aspects of the business from conceptual design to project management. This candidate will work side-by-side with our principal through training and into the future.

Job Responsibilities:

·Design wayfinding packages from concept to production art.

·Programming; locating signs on a floor plan, determining sign types, sign messages.

·Light project management.

Skills and Experience:

·Candidate must have experience with ADA signs, no exceptions.

·A thorough knowledge of Illustrator is a must, no exceptions.

·A degree in Sign Design, Graphic Design or related field is preferred.

·Strong typography skills.

·Team oriented, yet capable of working independently.

·Ability to anticipate and meet deadlines.

·Willingness to take initiative on challenges and learn new skills.

·Excellent attention to detail and timelines.

·Willingness to change gears on short notice.

·Personality. We enjoy someone who is able to laugh and keep a level head even when we are super busy.
