Junior Data Analyst Jobs

Medix Life Sciences is looking to hire a Junior Data Analyst to join a renowned Medical Group in Phoenix, AZ.

Essential Duties

• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
• Manage, interpret, and validate all data that is produced.
• Maintain the Company's annual budget and perform variance analysis to understand why and where the Company deviates from its projections.
• Gather and analyze data for potential business optimization.
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
• Assist CEO, CFO, and COO (as well as their designees) in performing special projects as assigned, to assist in weekly, monthly, quarterly management reporting and accompanying schedules, worksheets, and narratives.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.

Position Requirements

• 1-3+ years of data analysis or other relevant experience.
• Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions.
• High proficiency in financial modeling techniques.
• High proficiency in Excel and ability to present data in PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
• Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions.

Educational Qualifications

• BA or BS degree required (Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics preferred).

Nice to Have Skills

• Degree preferred to be in financial field
