We have an immediate need for a Junior Controller.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes.
• Assist with prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements and reports by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from Communities.
• Reviews labor report, escalates trends and OT violations.
• Responsible for reconciling community debit card bank accounts and communicating with DBOs to clear up.
• Assists with the Bi Weekly processing of payroll for 600+ employees.
• Performs other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time by the Controller.
• Analyzes information through spreadsheet reporting; verifying information.
• Assist with Managing Yardi Software and Payroll System.
• Assist with managing the P&L dashboard and Regional Results reporting.
• Assist the Communities and residents by filing requested Long-term Care (LTC) information required by LTC carriers for claim administration.

Education/Experience/ Licensure/Certification

• Bachelor of Accountancy Degree
• 3-4 years of work experience in finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles/controls and excellent verbal and written skills.
• Strong working knowledge and skills related to software programs including Excel, and familiarity with accounting and payroll software is also essential.
