The Junior Analyst (Top Secret) supports program management, process improvement and meeting support working in a classified environment with senior executives, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment on a high-performing team. This role is ideal for someone with 1-4 years of experience relevant to program or business analysis, who is mission-focused, has great attention to detail, and likes to improve how they deliver solutions to senior clients. Active DOD Top Secret Clearance Required.


This role requires the analyst/associate to be on site with our clients to support meetings and work in a classified environment on-site approximately 3 days per week. The associate supports projects in Washington, DC.


Responsibilities


  • Join our consulting practice to support projects and company growth initiatives, managing multiple workstreams at one time
  • Contribute to our company culture, which promotes client-focused teamwork, learning, and helping others to grow and develop
  • Suports the emergency management mission with administrative and meeting support, enhancing collaboration with stakeholders
  • Loves to learn complex mission areas in homeland security such as emergency management
  • Support program analysis and process improvement in a classified environment
  • Develop consulting skills and help grow the company outside of your project by participating in new business and strategic initiatives
  • Apply excellent consulting, business analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients
  • Wants to improve business analysis and program management skills while working in a in a dynamic, high-profile environment


Required Qualifications


  • Critical Skills: Entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, resilience, loves to learn, excited to engage and build relationships
  • Strong interest in working on emergency management and homeland security projects
  • Desire to join a consulting firm and learn business concepts; loves to collaborate and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects
  • Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills and strong leadership potential
  • Experience in process improvement, meeting and stakeholder engagement support, and/or program analysis
  • Experience in or ability to develop and document processes and standard operating procedures
  • Active Top Secret clearance and experience working with Top Secret documents
  • Direct experience with client and stakeholder engagement (including senior-level leaders) and delivering work products for clients in a complex stakeholder environment
  • Experience organizing and supporting meetings in a classified environment
  • Proven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a project environment supporting the government
  • Ability to support policy and process analysis and develop documents and communications
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Technologically savvy, especially with Microsoft products and use of collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint
