Job Description

Summary

The Jr. Systems Administrator is responsible for first-line support to corporate users, providing onboarding, troubleshooting, and technical support for computer software and systems. The Jr. Systems Administrator also assists in administering the server and networking environment of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provision and administer O365 and Active Directory Accounts as needed
  • Develop and maintain instructional materials for end-users
  • Review and keep up to date with industry trends and new technologies
  • Configure and repair end-user hardware devices (Thin Clients / PC / Laptops)
  • Administer Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops Environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain network infrastructure and troubleshoot issues
  • Create and maintain documentation per change management policy.
  • Windows Server Administration (2012/2016/2019)
  • Maintain ticket logging and ensure the final resolution of support requests.
  • Provide first-line technical support for end-users
  • Provide reports of trending issues and use data to perform root cause analysis of issues.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Strong scripting skills (Power shell)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Office 365 Administration
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites and other office productivity applications.
  • Advanced knowledge in supporting Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android
  • Windows Administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, etc.)
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Microsoft certifications preferred (MTA / MCSA)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of networking to include: routers, switches, firewalls, VPN concentrators and network protocols (TCP/IP) and core services such as DNS, DHCP
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Strong Customer Service focus
