Job Description

Job Title: Junior Developer

Codechimps is seeking a Junior Developer to join our team! As a Junior Developer, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using the latest technologies. You'll work with our senior developers to create and enhance features, fix bugs, and ensure that our platform is always running smoothly.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior developers to improve the platform's functionality and user experience
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and frameworks in web development
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with peers
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
  • Write clean and efficient code that follows industry standards and best practices
  • Develop new features and maintain existing ones on our web application


Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one back-end language (e.g. Node.js, Python, Ruby)
  • US Citizen
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Understanding of version control systems such as Git
  • 1-2 years of experience in web development
  • Github or equivalent showing a few past project
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Familiarity with React.js and other modern web frameworks


Salary Range:

$25-$35 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
