Reports to: Director, Marketing

Desired Experience

• Bachelor's or Associates Degree in art, graphic design, or related field
• Entry Level Considered, 1+ years of related experience is a plus

Role Summary

The Jr. Graphic Designer is responsible for supporting the visual development and execution of the marketing strategies in support of CBI's key objectives and goals. This role, as a part of the Marketing Department, is an extension of our sales team. All that we do should support win pursuits, brand recognition in our markets and development of deeper relationships with people that can influence our success. In this role, you should be highly creative and have a sharp eye for details. The Jr. Graphic Designer supports marketing efforts platform wide, ensures consistency of the CBI image and message in all locations. In this role, you should be able to create imaginative designs, be opened to learning more and create impressive designs that promote the company's vision.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain replicable marketing tools for Associate use.
• Communicate our branding and/or marketing requirements to our Manufacturing partners
• Learning new software, if needed, to accomplish projects.
• Supports Senior Creative Manager with communication strategy via print, templates, image-based e-mails, and digital assets for our website and social media channels. While working within existing brand guidelines.
• Support other miscellaneous marketing, messaging, and collateral requirements
• Guards the Company branding guidelines
• Proofread to ensure accurate and high-quality work.
• Support Sales Pursuits with Bid Responses, Presentations and other support materials

Qualifications

• Communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast past environment.
• A portfolio with projects showcasing skills relevant to business visual content goals
• Understanding of industry-standard software to create logos, icons, infographics, reports, publications, Invitations, and other similar projects.
• The ability to clearly communicate the reasoning behind design choices
