Journeyman Pipefitter / Welder Jobs

Journeyman pipefitter/welder responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems for gas pipe with Victaulic piping system, welding MIG/TIG 4g/6g and threading pipe in industrial setting.
The pay rate for this job is $22 - $28 / hour
Responsibilities

• Drawing layouts to scale while studying blueprints and following relevant codes
• Measuring and marking pipes for cutting or threading
• Troubleshooting problems Inspecting, examining, or testing installed systems or pipelines
• Cutting, threading, or hammering pipes using various power and hand tools
• Welding on steel pipe Laying out pipe, crafting, fabricating, installing pipe systems, supports, and hydraulic or pneumatic equipment.
• Assembling and welding pipe components and systems.
• Cutting or boring holes in structures
• Securing pipes to walls and fixtures with brackets, clamps, and welding equipment.
• Working with Victaulic piping and threading gas pipe lines

Qualifications

• Able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time and to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Minimum five years' experience in commercial construction industry preferred
• Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• A deep understanding of state and local building codes
• Tools of the trade and the ability to bring them to jobsites -Welder's gauge,Pipefitting squares,Fitter grips,Centering head,Pipe wraps
• Strong work ethic with a positive and calm mindset
• References to verify your professional skills and experience
