Position: DevOps Engineer (Strong JIRA administration skills)

Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Critical Skills:

• Ability to identify and resolve conflicts.
• Affluent in customized scripting in JIRA
• Strong CICD skills using Jenkins/Jira
• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills
• Enhancing and optimization of existing Jenkins framework
• Firm knowledge of Agile DevOps
• Proactive in nature with customer satisfaction as primary goal
• Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, persuasively with technology and business partners.
• Strong JIRA administration skills to introduce new capabilities in JIRA.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Able to provide technical guidance to peers.
• Hands on Kubernetes (AWS EKS)
• Experience in Unix scripting
• Ability to adapt to change while continuing to deliver on assigned objectives.
• Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies,
• Excellent collaborator and fantastic teammate
• Ability to identify process improvements and efficiencies opportunities.
• Able to deliver and apply risk-based approach to prioritize work.
• Hands on experience in Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket) performance tuning

Qualification:

• 3+ years of experience working with one or more of the following Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience of addressing compliance and governance requirements of a complex organization
• 5 to 7 years of experience in DevOps, CICD Services, infrastructure and platform management and automation
• Documentation of Engineering Solutions and Designs

Preferred Credentials:

• Technical degree
• Certified SysOps Administrator
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• AWS Certified Developer
• Certifications

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $45.00 per hour
