Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented JIRA Administrator III to join our team at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Aberdeen, MD .

The JIRA Administrator III is responsible for monitoring health, usage and overall compliance of JIRA and its applications. The JIRA Administrator III builds and maintains internal JIRA technical documentation, manuals, policies, and processes. The JIRA Administrator III understands how JIRA can enable the customer to become more efficient and configures the platform to achieve measurable benefits. The JIRA Administrator III coordinates application and platform upgrades, develops systems integrations and process automation, and configures and maintains Service Level Agreements, catalog items, and their associated workflows. The JIRA Administrator III is responsible for general support, administration, and maintenance of the JIRA platform and associated applications and works closely with IT and business partners to configure and improve core platform capabilities in accordance with ITIL best practices. The JIRA Administrator III supervises and mentors subordinate project and Team ManTech staff.

Required Qualifications

  • Experienced in using JavaScript, XML, and HTML.
  • DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II.
  • Experienced ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex software application related problems.
  • Possesses ability to analyze raw results, determine/ resolve bottlenecks, and create meaningful documentation of testing scenarios and test results.
  • Demonstrated ability with JIRA incident, change, problem, request, CMDB and knowledge management applications.
  • JIRA System Admin certification (admin or higher).
  • Possesses exceptional customer service skills.
  • Experienced with standard methodology, techniques, procedures and criteria.
  • Experienced in IT service management, ITIL v3 Foundations Certification.
  • 2 years of position-relevant work experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience with JIRA administration.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of marketplace and technology changes pertinent to JIRA, monitoring tools, and ITIL processes.
  • JIRA Certified System Administrator or JIRA Certified Application Developer.
  • Experience troubleshooting integration management, security, and application issues.
  • Experience with JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and web service integrations using REST, SOAP, etc.
  • ITIL v4 Foundations certification.

Physical Requirements:

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
