Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Apex has a client that is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer in New York or New Jersey.


Key Tasks:

  • Recognize and generalize solutions to recurring problems
  • Use CI/CD effectively
  • As a Full Stack UI Angular developer, you will design and implement Web Applications (Single Page App preferred) and RESTful APIs
  • Full Stack UI Angular will provide guidance and mentorship to the other engineers on the team, specifically for the front end
  • Validate hands-on experience developing web services using Java, as well as consuming them in a Web App


REQUIREMENTS:


  • A minimum of 7+ years of experience is a must
  • Experience with Python development is nice to have, specifically experience with Flask (or Django)
  • Experience in Single Page Applications using modern frameworks such as Angular (version 8 or higher)
  • Experience with AWS cloud environment development and deployment is preferred
  • Experience with Java and using frameworks such as Spring Boot to develop RESTful APIs
  • Experience with Jenkins is preferred
  • Proven track record designing and implementing Web Applications (Single Page App preferred) and RESTful APIs
  • Demonstrable ability to work with a small team to develop rapid solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Economics, or Advanced Mathematics, or equivalent experience
