Java Full Stack Developer.

At Cognizant Digital Engineering, a small cross functional team comprised of a Product Manager, an Architect, Full-Stack Developers, UI/UX designers and Big Data analysts builds higher quality software faster siloed individuals working independently. Across our US Studio system or within client development sites, our Digital Engineering teams ideate and develop innovative cloud-based solutions following a Lean-Agile process with DevOps culture. Working in Cognizant Digital Engineering provides DevOps engineers consistent opportunities to push digital boundaries while growing their exposure to transformational technologies.

• Implement and deploy API solutions while demonstrating expertise in a number of areas including cloud computing, API design and development,?

• Supports projects and design recommendations that span the entire infrastructure.?

• Contributes to creating strategy and evolvable systems, including guidelines, standards, and policies.?

• Collaborates with business leaders to help define business strategy and align creative information technology systems architecture to support the strategy. This requires a high degree of interaction with business and operations units to understand the functional needs of the system users as well as the various technology teams.

• Should be responsible for status reporting and build releases.?

• 5 to 8 years of experience.

• Strong Java / J2EE (preferably Java 8), Spring and Spring Boot professional experience.

• REST API development experience. should have worked on the REST API development (consumer/provider) and should be able to address the REST API security (like OAUTH).

• Should have SOAP Service knowledge and experience.

• Nice to have Test Driven Development knowledge.

• Should have very good communication skills and attitude, as the associate will be working directly with the client

• Good to have the Agile work experience and should be able to understand the Agile terminologies, as the client project will be executed using Agile methodology.

• Should be open to learn new tech stack and work on POC's if required by the customer

• Should have basic knowledge on the DB2 or database and SQL's
