Description:
o Ability to provide technical guidance in designingandarchitecting critical software applications
o Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software componentsandapplications.
o Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implementandsupport a solution.
o May serve as principle developer in course of large or complex project.
o Work with product ownersandother development team members to determine new featuresanduser stories needed in new/revised applications or large/complex development projects.
o Create or Update documentation in support of development efforts. Documents may include detailed specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams or design documents.
o Participate in code reviews with peersandmanagers to ensure that each increment adheres to original vision as described in the user storyandall standard resource librariesandarchitecture patterns as appropriate.
o Serve as a technical lead for an Agile teamandactively participate in all Agile ceremonies.
o Participate in all team ceremonies including planning, grooming, product demonstrationandteam retrospectives.
o Leverage Fannie Mae DevOps tool stack to build, inspect, deploy, testandpromote new or updated features.
o Advanced proficiency in Object Oriented Design (OOD)andanalysis.
o Advanced proficiency in application of analysis/design engineering functions.
o Advanced proficiency in advanced behavior-driven testing techniques.
o Required Skills
o Excellent collaborationandcommunication skills.
o At least 6 years of experience inJava/J2EEandrelated technologies with solid understanding of design principles
o Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, ReactJSandrelated technologies would be a plus
o Experience with implementing integration solutions with Microservices, RESTful Web ServicesandWeb APIs
o Expert proficiency in Object Oriented Design (OOD)andanalysis
o Expert proficiency in application of analysis/design engineering functions
o Expert proficiency in application of non-functional software qualities such as resiliency, maintainability, etc.
o 1-2 year of Drools experience would be a plus
o Must have 3-4 years of cloud development experience, preferably AWS
