SR.Backend Java Developer

Job Type : W2 role - Onsite-Only

Location : New York

:

  • Experience with pair programming
  • Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful
  • Knowledge of concurrency patterns in Java
  • Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle
  • The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests (TDD)
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Experience with both external and embedded databases
  • Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns
  • Proficiency with Vue or Angular
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Familiarity with continuous integration
  • Skill for writing reusable Java libraries.
  • Proficiency in Java, with a good knowledge of insurance a plus
  • Basic understanding of the class loading mechanism in Java

Additional Nice to Have Skills

  • UI Testing (cypress, Jest, Fluentnlenium)
  • Oracle or SQL Server
  • MarkLogic
