Description

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary responsibility is in the maintenance of clean facilities. The janitor is responsible for monitoring supply inventories and relaying such to the supervisor. The janitor will be assigned a master key and required security access to the facility.

HOURS: MON-FRI 2:30pm to 4:30pm

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Performs necessary “project” cleaning as required and directed by supervisor.
• Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals.
• Cleans office areas, rest rooms and common areas as specified by supervisor.
• Cleans period spills, etc., as needed.
• Cleans and maintains janitorial mop room and supply areas.
• Assists in snow removal as required.
• Empties trash containers throughout the facility.
• Sweeps and removes trash from surrounding property areas as defined by supervisor.
• Report to work as scheduled.
• Report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation immediately to supervisor or department head. Other duties as assigned.
• Maintains product inventory in use with janitorial duties and reports needs to supervisor.

• Good attention to detail
• Must be able to work independently

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred
