POSITION

We are looking to hire a part-time Janitor to be responsible for keeping our facility clean at all times. As a successful candidate, you will perform routine cleanings and be proactive in finding other detailed tasks to complete. You will be restocking supplies, sanitizing high traffic areas, and ensuring all cleaning assignments are properly completed and meet proper standards of cleanliness, safety, and appearance. To excel in this role, you must work well independently and have extreme attention to detail. Previous janitorial experience is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Follow all health and safety regulations pertaining to work.
• High traffic/High touch and common areas wipe and disinfect including but not limited to (Doors, Handles, Light Switches, Stairwell, Handrails etc)
• Perform thorough weekly cleaning routines
• Detail clean, sanitize and disinfect bathrooms
• Clean sinks, counter tops, and microwaves in break rooms.
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, scrubbing and wax & polish floors, hallways, walls, ceilings & light fixtures.

Requirements

• Report on-time, regular attendance with reliable service performance.
• Prior janitorial experience preferred
• Complete assigned work on time with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of cleaning products and willing to add on additional skills
• Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Be able to stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.

Salary

$16 - $18 USD per hour
