IT TECHNICIAN

This position is responsible for the IT assistance and processes. You will report to the Controller as part of the Administrative Department.

IT Department - responsible for:

• Provides support in generating, maintaining, and documenting company’s hardware and software needs and requirements.
• Provides support for company’s LAN (local area network), and Wan (Wide area network) infrastructures, solicit expert IT assistance as required.
• Responsible for contacting venders and or IT experts as required to accomplish software updates or Networking issues as deemed necessary.
• Maintains company’s cell phones.
• Maintains IT inventory of displays, cabling, mice, keyboards, PC’s, phones.
• Responsible for setup and operation of company’s servers, desktop computers, notebooks, wireless devices, monitors, printers, Personnel Computers and associated cables.
• Provides support for company’s Application software, Microsoft 365, Computer Ease, Setpoint Resource Center and SharePoint.
• Provides support for company’s telecommunication hardware and software.
• Responsible for responding to Help Desk request by SSC employees.
• Responsible for inventorying all IT devices and maintaining an organized inventory of the devices.
• Provides employee training on company-wide systems, hardware, and software.

Operations Department - responsible for:

• Is responsible for emergency calls with customers related to PCs, servers, printers, modems, networks, and integration devices.
• Responsible for obtaining quotes for project IT equipment ie: servers, desk top computers and laptop computers.
• Is responsible for performing in-house configuration, testing, and commissioning of installed operator workstations, servers, and software.
• Assists in Operator Workstation Hardware and Software selection for project IT support.

Service Department - assists with:

• Maintains proper documentation (service orders).
• Coordinates proper billing information.
• Assists in employee - customer development.
• Assists in employee - customer training.
• Estimates labor and material - in-house and construction.
• Assists in employee - customer interface.
• Communicates status, availability, recommendations, and follow-up.

MAINTAINS, Develops, and Executes DOCUMENTATION:

• Construction drawings.
• Material requisitions.
• Labor schedules.
• Commissioning reports.
• Project Drawings.
• Operations and maintenance manuals.
• As-built drawings.
• Software.
• Project information.
• Maintain Sharepoint files and documentation.
• Service orders.
• Checkout and startup reports.
• Warranty information.
• Correspondence.
• Material schedules.
• Project schedules - in-house, construction and service.
• Project Files.

Extensive product training will be provided and required

Salary Range $35,000 - $45,000 / Based on Experience
