Join the Security Engineering Group within the Defense and Space Electronics organization. You will work with a team of engineers to analyze various electronics packages and reduce potential exploitation risks. You will be responsible for the developing security procedures, and supporting all security aspects integrated into the development, test, and qualification of Defense and Space Electronics.

Your tasks will include detailed understanding of Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM) and NISPOM DoD5200.22-M security procedures, applying critical thinking to the lowest cost, best practice manner of meeting security needs while ensuring flawless development and launch of new exciting products. Your job is to make Security an Enabler not an impediment to success. As such, you will be part of a team of Security Professionals driving technical solutions that meet key program milestones and cost objectives.

  • Providing cradle to grave security analysis to critical systems to ensure they comply with DoD IT standards
  • Application of security policy to computer systems and servers
  • Work with Engineering to ensure Project Schedule, Budget and product Milestone are met
  • Technical Problem Solving

Must Have

  • 2 years of IT experience
  • Must have DoD Clearance or eligible to receive one
  • U.S. Citizenship due to contractual obligations
  • Basic understanding of DAAPM and NISPOM DoD 5200.22-M

  • Ability to create specific action plans, prioritize time and resources effectively
  • Able to work with Engineers and Program leadership to review and convey technical ideas and concepts through team discussions, presentations and in writing on security needs and methods of being compliant while not being an impediment to success
  • 5 years of Security experience
