Job Description
Description:

Evaluates and tests software programs to verify that programs function according to specifications and standards by performing the following duties:

  • Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and ensure that all software applications, products, and services are meeting requirements and quality standards
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing from beginning to end of the testing cycle
  • Participate in code and design reviews to ensure that software applications, products, and services are designed for testability
  • Identify and document defects, bugs, and issues and report them to the development team
  • Triage production support and maintenance tickets to the correct resource
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications, products, and services
  • Create and maintain documentation for testing processes and results
  • Continuously improve the quality assurance process and contribute to the overall quality of the software development life cycle
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that software applications, products, and services meet functional, performance, and security requirements
Requirements:

Required:

  • Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in professional computer software development and formal software quality assurance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with manual and automated testing methods
  • Must have experience with the software development life cycle, and industry-standard software tools such as defect tracking and source code management systems.
  • Must be able to demonstrate expertise in formal SQA methodology; to develop and document test plans, use cases, test cases and test scripts.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Selenium automated testing and Salesforce
  • Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation, .NET, ASP, HTML, C#, Java, JavaScript, Visual Basic, and SQL Server a plus.

EDUCATION

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and a minimum of 3+years of equivalent work-related experience.
