Job Description

Eaton’s Corporate Technology Operations is seeking an IT PMO Senior Manager - Infrastructure to join the IT team. In this role, you will directly manage a global team of program and project managers responsible for enterprise hardware delivery utilizing agile methodologies. Your team will transform the delivery of IT Infrastructure products (Servers, Storage, Voice, and Networking) by leveraging various project management methodologies, tools, and processes (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban).

This is a hybrid position and can be based out of the following Eaton sites: Beachwood, OH; Chicago, IL; Southfield, MI; Raleigh, NC; Moon Township, PA; Houston, TX, Waukesha, WI. Relocation assistance will be provided.


In this role you will:
  • Monitor and report on schedule and budget variances across the Project portfolios
  • Foster an environment of engagement, inclusion and accountability through advocacy, empathy, and mentorship.
  • Ensure projects are staffed appropriately, mitigate risk and meet budget expectations
  • Standardize project execution, define and communicate roles and responsibilities for technical & functional teams to ensure delivery of positive business outcomes
  • Serve as an Agile Coach to help PMs and product team members to adopt agile practices, methods, and digital mindset.
  • Oversee technical project and program managers in the delivery of Infrastructure products across the enterprise
  • Develop communication strategies and lead change management process with senior executives (VP, Directors, and Officers) and key stakeholders globally


Qualifications
  • 3+ years IT management experience, preferably managing virtually in a global environment, leading program or project managers
  • 10+ years of experience in a corporate technology delivery role – specifically supporting infrastructure hardware
  • Candidate must be authorized to work in the US on a continuous basis without company sponsorship
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required

Position Criteria
  • Knowledge of client server technology including Servers, Storage, IT Security, Voice, and networking
  • Previously utilized project management methodologies, tools, and practices on an enterprise scale (Agile, Scrum, Lean, Jira, etc.)
  • Extensive experience leading remote project teams with cross-cultural and multi-continent internal and external project resources


The expected annual salary range for this role is $150000.03 - $220000.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
