I.T. Manager
Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, printers, software and hardware. Handles business-critical IT tasks and systems administration. Tracks and maintains hardware and software inventory. Leads and implements projects and solutions that lead to improvements and efficiencies for office and production personnel. Develops and maintains vendor relationships. Provides direction for the IT staff for our facility operating in Mexico. Develops/supports IT strategy for the company.
Essential Duties

• Create/maintain tracking information of I.T. assets in storage and active areas
• Assist in data retention and retrieval of legacy systems data
• Provide direction and support for I.T. team members (US and Mexico)
• Assist in troubleshooting PLEX ERP issues; security roles and configurations
• Evaluate technology risks in order to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures
• Coordinate technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance
• Monitor/supervise daily operations, including server hardware, software, operating systems and other related systems
• Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for I.T. needs
• Provide I.T. support for our Mexico location; including shared implementation
• Develop training materials and document procedures
• Configure/install new hardware and software solutions; including, but not limited to, switches, firewalls, servers, laptops, PCs, printers and other peripherals
• Coordinate IT activities and goals for Mexico facility
• Develop reports using PLEX ERP and other resources (SQL; IntelliPlex; Excel; Etc.)
• Verify correct execution of data backup operations and data transfer to backup media
• Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
• Select/purchase new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary

Knowledge & Skills Summary

• Networking and VoIP; Microsoft Office; SQL; Firewall
• Windows Server Operating Systems; including associated roles (DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, etc.)
• 2+ years of ERP operations/configuration; PLEX Online ERP experience is a major plus

Work Schedule

• 8-hour shift
• Monday through Friday
• Additional as needed

Job Type

• Full time, Salaried, Exempt

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of network/IT administration with 2+ years of management experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field; or at minimum High School Diploma or GED with certifications in related field (A+, Network+, Security+, etc.)
• Prior work experience as an IT manager or in a related position is a plus
