It Business Systems Analyst

Aqueduct Technologies is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for our client based in Marlborough, MA. This is a full-time, direct hire role. You will work with subject matter experts and user community to define, document, plan, train, execute, and test business systems projects. This includes data mining, analysis, reporting tools, current Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, home grown applications and related 3rd party integration.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st and 2nd level support and troubleshooting for production control and traceability platform.
• Gather user requirements, recommend and implement solutions for current ERP or other 3rd party business systems.
• Coordinate and perform the testing of configuration or programming changes.
• Develop on-going reports needed by the business to improve information and decision making.
• Lead deployment and maintenance of ERP system functionality and business intelligence/reporting strategy to increase business productivity, reporting in operations.
• Works with end-users, troubleshoots issues, and provides ongoing production support and works with database administrator and programmers Directly assist manufacturing and production teams with support and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate and assist with end-user training including development of system documentation and training materials.
• Work closely with the business leaders to identify operations / manufacturing business requirements and then translate into technical specifications
• Develop detailed test scripts, unit test programming changes and generate use case scenarios
• Coordinate and/or perform validation of various modules and features as they are implemented.
• Resolve helpdesk issues and prevent future recurrence.
• Review, analyze and create documentation of operations business systems and user needs including workflow and program functions
• Lead in-house user groups to monitor system changes, enhancements and improvements.
• Support product upgrades and projects, including active engagement in testing of new features and functionality.

Job Qualifications:

• Windows, Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, MS Project, TFS).
• Ability to effectively multitask and to perform with a sense of urgency for rapid issue resolution.
• Moderate knowledge of building SQL queries or equivalent ERP queries and troubleshooting
• Experience with support in a manufacturing environment, including processes, systems and terminology.
• Ability to document current functionality and process flows, and suggest areas for future improvement.
• Experience with Power BI or other Business Analytic tools preferred.
• 3 years of hands-on experience with MS Dynamics NAV 2017 (or higher) or Equivalent ERP
• Effective communication with other departments to ensure proactive support and administration, including support for new product rollouts.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in IT or business systems related project implementation
