The role is internally called at Mars as Security Assurance & Compliance Senior Analyst.

Mars IS Security Governance exists to assess, communicate, and reduce risk to the Business. This requires deep expertise in the underlying technology, an up-to-date understanding of the industry & legal mandates, and strong background in securing a global enterprise.

This role will help evaluate and understand the threat landscape on a Global/segment basis as required, and will be a deep, subject matter expert capable of providing input into other security programs. This role focuses on risk related to compliance with audit, standards, and policies.

What are we looking for?

• Strong communications skills and stakeholder management.
• Must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Strong experience in Information Security, IT audit or compliance.
• Knowledge of COBIT, NIST or other IT frameworks is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related fields.
• Ideally have experience in process design and effective documentation.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Contribute in the development and enhancements of the IT General controls framework.
• Help educate control owners on the controls framework.
• Audit Program
• Lead control owners through the process of developing control processes to meet Mars control objectives and mitigate risks.
• Create and communicate reports on audit program compliance to key stakeholder groups.
• Facilitate PwC audit by following the schedule and work with the stakeholders to assure evidences are delivered on time and with agreed level of quality.

• Work with control owners to improve the IT controls processes to achieve effective compliance.
• Regularly assess the control policies, procedures, action plans ensuring they comply with the ITGCs best practices.
• Partner with different teams across the organization to drive monitoring and compliance of the IT General Controls

• Provide training to Control Owners during on-boarding and periodically.
