Job Description
Ingenious Med's mobile platform is an integral piece to the customer offering. As part of our Agile iOS Development team, an iOS Developer is responsible for delivering quality, timely releases. Utilizing Objective-C and Swift, an iOS Developer is responsible for coding, troubleshooting and fixing bugs for iOS based applications. It’s paramount for the all-native mobile application to be designed for ease of use as well as performance for the end user, and it takes the whole team to discover the best ideas for the product.
Reporting to the Development Manager, the iOS Software Engineer will:
  • Reviews design and code deliverables to ensure that they conform to the system architecture
  • Provide design and architectural input to the team while translating product requirements into workable, documented designs
  • Write code and automated tests independently for diverse systems. Capable of following existing code patterns and participating in the development of new patterns.
  • Assist with software maintenance tasks assigned to the team – bug fixes, customer-driven feature development, etc.
  • Be an active participant in the day to day Scrum activities of the team including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer/QA found issues in a timely manner
  • Identifies and documents technical requirements in the form of user stories.
What we are looking for:
  • Adaptable to shifting priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Computer Science or related field preferred, or equivalent field experience and training
  • Experience integrating RESTFul or SOAP APIs
  • Friendly, cheerful, “can-do” demeanor
  • 5+ years’ experience with native iOS development in Objective-C or Swift
  • Excellent time and task management skills
  • Proficiency in Core Data a plus
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
