Investment Analyst, Indirect - Cbre Investment Management

The Indirect Investment Analyst will work as a member of the America’s Regional Investment Team working collaboratively on the execution of indirect investments within the Region. The analyst will support the team in the due diligence of transactions; preparation of investment recommendations, asset management of investments; ad hoc requests and will work with the Indirect Global Portfolio Management Team and Global Analytics Team to provide input for client reporting.
The Analyst will work in a team capacity under the guidance of a Senior Investment Manager on the team.
What You’ll Do

• Monitors investment reporting, liaising with external operators as necessary to confirm data validity for internal systems
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Production of Investment Oversight Committee materials including semi-annual performance reforecasts and annual investment review notes (including hold/sell analysis)
• Works with the Indirect Global Portfolio Management Team to provide support to quarterly reporting and response to ad hoc investment queries
• Supports preliminary screening of investment opportunities, including financial models for investments and written investment summaries and preliminary recommendations.
• Focuses on ESG priorities, maintaining reporting, and supporting investment initiatives
• Supports the due diligence and underwriting of investments including financial analysis, market analysis, property analysis and production of Investment Committee recommendations

What You’ll Need

• Ability to prioritize and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met
• 1-4 years of experience in Real Estate Investments
• Understands and appreciates the importance of using discretion
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible approach to work and willingness/ability to travel
• Strong work ethic and ambition
• Accurate under time pressure and exceptional attention to detail
• BS/BA required, preferably with accounting, economics, finance, and/or real estate studies
• Financial modelling skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Argus exposure preferred)
• Enjoys working autonomously and as part of a wider team with good interpersonal skills
