What you’ll be doing:

As a growing online cycling retailer, we’re looking for a capable individual looking to start a career in eCommerce. Are you a self-starter? Energized by the cycling industry? If you love bikes and are energized by the opportunity to materially grow in a blooming business segment, we want you to join our team as an Inventory Health Specialist.

As an Inventory Health Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing product listings for our online bicycle ecommerce retailer via an expanding channel for our business as well as maintaining inventory health. You will be measured by your ability to successfully meet our customers needs which includes accurately listing products for Lots and Auction, managing customer interactions, and delighting customers with exceptional value. You will learn to leverage a 3rd party Platform to drive traffic and sales and, as part of the team, you’ll get to learn from world-class ecommerce experts. In addition, you get to share in the success of your efforts!

Responsibilities:


● Monitor overall inventory health and take initiatives to optimize that health using techniques to liquidate inventory and track velocities and inventory states

● Create and manage product listings for our online bicycle ecommerce retailer, including Lots and Auction listings

● Optimize product listings to increase visibility and sales

● Monitor sales performance and adjust listings as needed

● Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

● Work with the team to ensure inventory is accurately reflected


Qualifications:


● Bachelor’s degree preferred not required

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills

● Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

● Experience in retail

● Experience in running promotions, deals, etc. and finding best outlets for sales

● Experience selling on 3P Marketplaces

● Passion for bikes and knowledge of the cycling industry (preferred, not essential)

● Ability to create product descriptions and influence buying decisions in writing

● Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other software tools as needed


This is a temporary contract position for 6 months, with the opportunity for a full-time role with long term career upside based on performance.
