Job Summary:

The Inventory Procurement Manager is responsible for managing the overall inventory planning process to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained to support sales, reduce costs, and meet customer service goals. This role requires strong analytical skills, an understanding of supply chain management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory planning processes and drive efficiency.
• Develop and implement inventory planning strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and maximize customer service levels.
• Use forecasting tools and data analysis to monitor inventory levels and identify trends that impact inventory performance.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to inventory management, such as stock turnover, days inventory outstanding, and inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to forecast demand and develop inventory plans that meet customer needs while minimizing excess inventory.
• Work with suppliers to manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Lead inventory planning team, including hiring, training, and development of team members.
• Develop and implement inventory policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience working with ERP systems and inventory management software.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to lead a team.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory planning or supply chain management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in forecasting and demand planning.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Physical Demands:

The job may require the Inventory Procurement Manager to sit for extended periods of time while working on a computer or reviewing reports. The job may also require occasional lifting and moving of inventory or supplies.
