Description


Summary:

The Inventory Data Specialist assists in the accurate on-time movement and reporting of production materials and ingredient inventories. This position requires a highly organized and accurate individual, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and SAP.


This hybrid position will be a combination of remote and onsite at the Tacoma offices in Tacoma, WA. Our hybrid work environment includes remote on Monday and Friday and in the Support Center on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviews sales order and in-transit order processes within SAP.
  • Performs other responsibilities, as assigned.
  • Uses critical thinking and communication skills to expedite solutions among various parties involved in related inventory system processes.
  • Executes in-transit orders to move stock to forward warehouses.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders in production plants, vessels, finance, and supply chain needed to create desired outcomes.
  • Reviews inventories in support of plant and vessel production supplies.
  • Assists with warehouse inventory reconciliation with research and resolution.
  • Participates in the processing of transfer orders, goods, receipts, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Validates and corrects routine inventory movement data transactions

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.
  • Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.

Minimum Requirements


Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products including Excel and Outlook.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to adjust to evolving business objectives.
  • SAP experience
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.


This is a non-exempt position with an hourly range of $26.44 - $33.65 per hour.
