Inventory Control Supervisor-Atlanta Fulfillment Center, Night Shift

Assist distribution center supervisors, union employees, store associates, and main office associates. Frequent independent judgments are essential. Perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. Essential Job Functions

• Slot all merchandise
• Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
• Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
• Administer distribution center section of vendor non compliance
• Process reports on overs and shorts from stores
• Maintain flexibility to work any shift, including weekends
• Conduct research on store order cuts
• Maintain all files on the Warehouse Inventory Network system that pertain to aisle ranges and picking information
• Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
• Correct receiving problems
• Conduct all inventories
• Perform new store setup
• Compile shipping to stores schedule
• Accept handbills from stores and buyers
• Respond to concerns from buyers and stores, research and return results

Minimum Position Qualifications

• Lift truck certification/license
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to operate all warehouse equipment
• Other: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus two years' experience in warehouse distribution; or combination of relevant education and experience with a minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to continue education, as necessary
• Ability to work within set time frames and fixed deadlines
• Accuracy/attention to detail
• Familiarity with retail distribution technical terms and processes
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to organize/prioritize variety of tasks/projects

Desired Previous Experience/Education

• Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker and lansing aisle ranger
• Experience directing and participating on project teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and MAGIC
• Second language
