Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

As an Inventory Analyst, the primary responsibility will be to maintain the accuracy and efficiency of our ERP system's inventory data. This position holds a crucial role in ensuring streamlined organizational operations and accurate inventory control, through experience and high attention to detail.


EDUCATION: Required: High school diploma Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field. EXPERIENCE: Required: 2+ years of experience in a position related to inventory management Preferred: 4-8 years of experience in a position related to inventory management, supply chain management, or demand forecasting. POSITION REQUIREMENT(S): Specialized Skills/License/Certification: Required: Advanced understanding and experience in inventory planning. Experience using inventory management softwares and ERP systems. Strong communication and problem solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency in data analysis tools like Microsoft Excel or data visualization software for analyzing inventory trends and making data-driven decisions. Preferred: Previous experience with Sage X3. Experience in optimizing inventory levels, reducing carrying costs, and minimizing stockouts or overstock situations. CORE COMPETENCIES (Essential Job Functions):

  • Coordinate annual physical inventory counts at every location.
  • Maintain Fulfillment Settings and Analytics on manufactured products for all facilities.
  • Assist as needed with production or raw material planning process.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Aged Inventory Review and suggestions to Sales/Operations for disposition or use.
  • Identify and help correct procedural or system issues that cause inventory inaccuracies .
  • Work with Sales, Operations, and other departments to obtain forecast information related to changes in sales demand, raw material availability, etc.
  • Assist with cycle count process.
  • Maintain Stocked Item List for all facilities.
  • Calculate and maintain min/max and other MRP inputs for all sites for all finished goods and raw materials.
  • Adjust ERP when inventory quantities are determined to be incorrect.
