Job Description


  • Write complex SQL queries to retrieve data based on business users and management team's requirements by using Common Table Expressions, creating temporary tables, and joining various table and views in the environment of SQL Server.
  • Perform data analysis using T-SQL and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) by writing Analytic Functions and by writing Multidimensional Expressions (MDX) with SQL Server.
  • Perform data mining for historical reports by extracting data with R's regular expression, organizing data with MS Excel using various functions, and mapping historical table to table in the new system.
  • Developing data analytics and reports to study business problems using tools like Excel.
  • Perform SQL Server database administration duties including on-call schedule, schema design support, and troubleshooting integrity issues, blocking/deadlocking issues, replication, connectivity and security issues
  • Focus on innovative ways to extract new meaningful and actionable features from data by using R/Python.
  • Productively integrate with an Agile development team
