Intern, Bioreactor Development Jobs

Just-Evotec Biologics’ Bioreactor Process Development group is seeking a motivated and creative intern who is passionate about expanding worldwide access to biotherapeutics. Seeking a motivated candidate to join a fast-paced, collaborative, and multidisciplinary team to develop upstream processes for low-cost biotherapeutic manufacturing.  The successful candidate will have a basic understanding of chemistry, biochemistry, and cell biology. Previous lab experience a plus. The ideal candidate has strong written and verbal communications skills, works well independently and in teams, enjoys problem-solving, and constantly looks for ways to improve processes. 
Responsibilities

• Work with a mentor to develop and characterize gas toxicity in bioreactor cell culture
• Contribute as a team member to shared responsibilities, including general laboratory upkeep
• End of internship presentation to the scientific staff

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent experimental design and analysis skills
• Working towards a BS in Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology or related field

Pluses

• Experience with and understanding of aseptic technique and mammalian cell culture
• Start and end date are flexible.
• Understanding of DoE principles
• Experience with data analysis and visualization software (e.g. JMP)

Note: This is anonsite,paid internship. This position is open to all students legally authorized to work in the United States. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship for internships. While housing is not provided by Just-Evotec Biologics, we make every effort to connect fellow interns to arrange for joint housing and ride sharing.The hiring pay range for this position is $24 to $28 per hourbased on skills, education and experience relevant to the role.
