Project coordinator & interior designer at the top of their game looking for a position they can take and run with. We are a design build company specializing in residential additions and interior renovations. Our customers expect the best from us and we expect the best from our employees. Previous residential remodeling & residential customer communication experience a huge benefit.

Responsibilities:The project coordinator/interior designer position is responsible for the projects from contract signing through to construction completion. During the preconstruction phase this role works with the owners to finalize the permit drawings and make all finish selections that are included in the contract. Depending on the project this would include kitchen design, bathroom design, flooring, tile, paint colors, lighting, windows & doors, along with a variety of exterior materials. The goal of the project coordinator is to have a well organized project handed to the construction manager ready for construction. During construction, this role is the main contact for the homeowner. They are responsible for keeping the owner up to date on the schedule and any questions or concerns that come up along the way.

Qualities & Skills:

  • Team Player
  • Knowledge of interior & exterior finishes
  • Strong homeowner communication skills (previous work with homeowners a huge plus!)
  • Organized
  • CAD or drawing experience
  • Positive energy & can do attitude
  • Ability to manage an everchanging workload
  • Knowledge & experience in kitchen & bathroom design

Education:Interior Design or similar

Experience:Strong preference will be given to candidates with previous homeowner & residential design experience. Understanding of the homeowner's emotional curve through an invasive renovation process while living in a home is strongly preferred. Knowing how to communicate about changes and issues that come up during the process and how to present and communicate those things during construction is important too. Please mention Happy in your application. Details matter in this position. Initiative & self-efficacy are extremely important.

Location:This position is work from home but is expected to meet homeowners in the field or at showrooms as needed. Project locations vary from South Hills to North Hills to the city. Typical week would be about 50% at home & 50% in the field.

Salary: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
