Primary Responsibilities
This position is reserved for students enrolled in a CIDA-accredited Interior Design program. The internship position may be a full-time or part-time position depending on the requirements of the local design studio, and the student’s degree program.
In the role of Intern Interior Design, we’ll count on you to:
- Perform other duties as needed
- Follow through on design development drawings and models and collaborate with production staff for technical details and completion of construction drawings.
- Perform assignments under the direct supervision of an Interior Designer, Project Manager, or other professionals.
- Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and our young professionals’ programs.
- Offer real-world experience on exciting Interior Design projects.
- Participate in the interior design process and develop alternative solutions and presentation graphics used to communicate concepts to clients or for agency approval.

Required Qualifications
- Computer skills must include but are not restricted to: Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, PowerPoint
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate interior design program
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture is a must
- Attention to detail is a must
- Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to the industry
- Preference is given to local candidates
- Prefer 2 years completed toward a degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA

Typical starting pay range for this position is $18 - $25 hourly depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
