The Role

Our global Artist & Content team supports the diverse range of artists on the Redbubble marketplace, by maintaining Content and Community guidelines, enforcing our IP/Publicity Rights Policy, and resolving artist concerns. We work closely with policy leads in key business areas to help protect our artists' rights and uphold the integrity of the marketplace.

We're looking for a superstar to join the Content Operations team as our new Intellectual Property Operations Specialist. You will work closely with subject matter experts in all things content moderation on Redbubble, and take a great deal of pride in knowing you have a hand in keeping the bad stuff off the site.

Key Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with internal subject matter experts on various policies
• Review user-generated content against established guidelines
• Serve as the escalation point for complex matters
• Handle inquiries related to intellectual property matters
• Send timely, clear, and concise written notifications to artists and others
• Familiarity with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act is a plus

What You’ll Bring:

• An easy-going attitude that will not get offended by the nature of this role, which may include potential exposure to adult material and other “interesting” content
• Trustworthy and possess a high level of discretion with confidential matters
• A critical thinker with the ability to make independent decisions
• Huge bonus points if you’re fluent in Spanish, German or French
• Laser-focused and detail oriented under pressure
• 1-2 years of relevant professional experience
• Aware of a wide variety of American and global pop culture

We offer competitive compensation because we want to hire the best people and reward them for their contributions to our mission. We pay all employees relative to the San Francisco City market, regardless of their location. In pursuit of pay equity and fairness, the starting hourly rate for this position is anticipated to be $29.00. The final offer may be determined by a number of non discriminatory factors, including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. All employees may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as stock-based compensation, which are awarded to employees annually, subject to board discretion.
