Job Summary:

The Integrated Content Editor is a professional in video production responsible crafting content for broadcast, interactive, and social media platforms for Disney Parks Experiences and Products. You will bring Disney Parks marketing messages to life by combining motion graphics, animation, video, music and sound effects into a compelling story that allows our guests to see themselves and their families vacationing with us and enjoying our merchandise. You will work with a variety of departments including art directors, creative designers, video producers, marketing & sales teams, and technology partners.

As a part of the post-production team, you will report to the Sr. Manager Production and Director of Production. This is a direct hire, full-time opportunity. We also hire contract and freelance positions to support our teams.


Responsibilities:

  • Produce work that expresses a knowledge of visual storytelling, with a level of creativity and new insights
  • Create brand campaigns, digital experiences, social media content, activations and more
  • Update video projects and other assets received from external sources
  • Implement feedback from creative leads and strategy partners


Basic Qualifications:

  • Outstanding project file management and understanding of server folder structure and organization
  • Agency experience, including designing for big pitches and working with outside vendors
  • Good eye for frame composition, visual alignment, and timing
  • Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop
  • Knowledge of the production and post production industry
  • Knowledge of current video editing and stylistic trends
  • Experienced in running multiple concurrent projects and identifying project prioritization
  • Experience in Adobe Premiere and Adobe Media Encoder
  • 3+ years video editing experience in broadcast and social content

A portfolio including:

  • Social media content for Instagram or Snapchat.
  • Examples of video editing short or long form content

General technical knowledge of digital file formats such as:

  • Production formats, camera raw, ProRes, R3D, BRAW, ARI RAW
  • Delivery formats for high resolution broadcast and compressed web specs including outputting SMPTE 5.1 + Stereo audio mix

The hiring range for this position in location is $97,742.00 to $124,410.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
