Position Overview:
The Principal Sales position will be a part of Fractal’s global “Apex” leadership group and will be responsible for generating new revenue by prospecting and signing net new clients, as well as growing business volume with them via expansion into new buying centers and divisions. S/He will manage multiple client relationships and be responsible for the end-to-end sales process. Role will require travel in steady state, after the US returns to post-pandemic normalcy.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key prospects and decision makers, anticipating needs and undertaking actions to exceed expectations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across consulting and capabilities to articulate Fractal’s differentiation, value proposition; and highlight business benefits and value to the client.
  • Successfully leverage ideas across clients and industries to formulate best practices and creative thinking to generate new opportunities.
  • Design and drive demand generation campaigns to achieve business goals.
  • Structure and negotiate contracts and commercial terms and conditions with prospective business partners.
  • Actively contribute to Fractal’s thought leadership and provide proactive input for developing next generation offerings and solutions in Analytics. Not expected to build these solutions themselves.
  • Build executive presence through publication of blogs, participating in conferences, and industry forums.
  • Identify new opportunities and manage end-to-end sales pipeline and process with new prospects within the Insurance industry in the US and UK/Europe.
  • Assess profitable opportunities from leads received and generated, with a keen eye towards opportunity qualification.
  • Identify organizations and Lines of Business and their key decision makers in need for analytics services.
  • Support RFPs by offering insights into the clients’ business and motivations, including building compelling proposals.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent presentation and impactful story-telling skills.
  • Analytical, problem-solving skills, flexible, cross-functional and creative thinker with a collaborative approach to performing his/her responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting/exceeding annual sales goals and targets, and becoming trusted advisors to senior client stakeholders
  • At least 8 years of total selling experience, preferably in consulting and advanced analytics services in the US / UK / Europe
  • Experience within and understanding of the Insurance industry, with proven track record of referenceable business contacts in the US, UK and Europe
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, data-driven individual with the ability to multi-task and work proactively to make things happen, in a fast-paced environment
Education Qualification and Certifications:
  • MBA degree OR MS OR M.Tech OR BS OR B.Tech. in a field with significant quantitative training such as Statistics, ML, AI, Physics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, etc.
Pay:
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $125,000 - $232,000. In addition, for the current performance period, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
Benefits:
As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time. You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company. In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms. The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a “free time” PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take time needed for either sick time or vacation.
