Job Description

Workers will learn the rules and regulations of the firestopping industry including the life safety regulations. The individuals will learn to read blueprints, UL systems & codes as well as install the materials with tools of the trade.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a member in good standing with the Union, Local 132 of the International Association of Heat & Frost Insulators & Allied Workers (AFL-CIO).
  • Must be current with all dues & membership fees.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and carry a 5-gallon pail weighing approximately 50 lbs. up and down stairs, as well as across the jobsite.
