Instrumentation Control Technician Jobs

• Assist in the development and implementation of reliability centered maintenance strategies
• Ensure proper operation of all electrical/control system components including electronic components, motors, solenoids, limit switches, burner controls, and Programmable Logic Control (PLC) input/output (I/O) modules
• Review, develop and/or modify work orders for all plant equipment and enter modifications into the facility maintenance system
• Participate in planning, procurement, and documentation of activities for the enhancement of electrical and instrumentation maintenance within the facility

• Adjusts and calibrates equipment, instruments, and other devices to specifications.
• Performs operational and functional tests to determine equipment or instrument malfunctions.

• Troubleshoot motor circuits, wire, fuses, solid state contactors, solid state overloads, electronic overloads, thermal couplers, P I D loops, understand process variables, voltage calculations, electrical blueprints etc.
• Uses programmable logic controller(s) to isolate faulty electrical/electronic equipment
• Assembles, installs, inspects, maintains repairs, modifies, troubleshoots, and tests electrical and electronic systems and equipment. Equipment may include motors, generators, motor control centers, switch gear, lighting circuits, A.C. and D.C. variable speed drives, solid state boards, electronic process control devices and electronic scales

• Keep all high traffic areas clean and clear of any trash, debris, tools, hoses, or other miscellaneous items (use proper cleaning procedures for oil and other lubricants leaks and spills)
• Follow and maintain all applicable standards related to Environmental Compliance.
