Job Description

Crafty Bird is currently hiring instructors to run our after school enrichment courses. We are looking for people who love kids and crafts. All materials, guided instruction, and training will be provided.


We are looking for people who:

  • Have experience with kids or are studying to be a teacher.
  • Can manage up to 15 elementary aged kids in a group.
  • Have a currentArizona IPV Fingerprint clearance cardor will get one before work start date.
  • Have afternoon availability during the school year (generally 2:45pm to 4:30 pm M-F. Wednesdays may be as early as 1:00).
  • Will commit to teach 6-week after school classes.
  • Storage available - 6 weeks of supplies may be handed to you at training, and it will be your responsibility to store them throughout the course. All unused materials will be returned/exchanged at the end of the course.
  • Are 18 years or older and are able to pass a background check.
