Job Overview


The Inspector II performs a variety of quality audits on product in production for assigned process areas.  The candidate will use gages, microscopes and/or vision system and refers to blueprints to perform audit function.  Results of final inspections are documented on required forms.


Hours: M-TH 6am-4pm (Four 10 hours days)


Responsibilities


  • Perform First Article Inspections to customer and internal prints using AS9100 format.
  • Ability to send and receive data instructions via E-mail using the above applications
  • Perform final inspections on machine components
  • Work with production personnel to trouble shoot and problem solve issues related to inspection of components or other similar problems
  • Ability to work and train inspectors and other personnel on use of the OGP and RAM or other standard measurement equipment
  • Use standard inspection equipment including RAM and OGP
  • Setup, and operate measuring systems to determine whether parts meet print dimensions
  • Inspect product from production or suppliers
  • Use various software applications including Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Communicate the results of inspections to Engineering, Inspection and Management
  • Establish daily priorities and determine the most important tasks to perform at any given time of the day
  • Perform Inspection on Deliveries shipping to customers to ensure that all the Quality requirements are met.


What Your Background Should Look Like


  • Prior inspection experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Knowledge of FAI’s preferred
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous SPC experience optional
  • Ability to work independently

Compensation


  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $34800-52200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
