Job Description
Background and Purpose of the Job
We are seeking an experienced Quality Professional to join our team. You will work within our Multi Country Organization to ensure Unilever’s Quality Strategy is supported through the innovation process. You will ensure the safety of our consumers through risk management tools and quality systems. You will work closely with cross functional teams including: R&D, Factory, Innovation Planning, Marketing, and more. In addition, as an Innovation Quality Specialist you will focus on providing lasting solutions to our everyday challenges through digital tools and creative problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have strong prioritization, communication, influencing, and organizational skills and is technically proficient in product design and manufacture. All while keeping the consumer at the heart of everything we do.

What You’ll Do
  • Drives continuous improvements through innovation.
  • Partner with Unilever Sites and Collaborative Manufacturers to ensure compliance to relevant Unilever and Regulatory standards
  • Provides technical expertise (SME) to support risk identification and mitigation strategies for OTIF delivery.
  • Utilize and advance our Innovation Tools to drive risk management.
  • Leads sprint teams to quickly address and resolve Quality issues in both systems and processes.
  • Quality for Distribution – support in development of products
  • Vegan Program Lead
  • Liaise with stakeholders at all levels and technical experts to define business requirements and develop solutions that meet the needs of the sponsor.
  • Support Quality requirements in Trials landing flawless innovations
  • Key Quality Voice in Innovation process
  • Collaborates with R&D and others in Supply Chain to enable key work streams driving our business growth
  • Ensure all projects are risk assessed and followed up where there is elevated risk
  • Support the Quality Management System improvement process for the most relevant topics including SAP-QM and QualityOne (Veeva).
  • Provides Quality updates to Category to key stake holders
  • Quality representative for Innovation projects to drive compliance, growth, and consumer love.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
  • Demonstrated leader of functional working teams
  • University degree in technical discipline or general sciences. Preferred: Biology, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Food Science degree
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Applied knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22716, Allergen Management, Food Safety, FSSC 22000, FDA 21 CFR 210/211, etc
  • Experience in UL Business Systems: SAP, PLM, InnoFlex, QualityOne, Airtable
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Preferred 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Quality or R&D, additional experience in Manufacturing a plus.
  • Experience in O365 tools including: PowerPoint, PowerBi, PowerApps, Excel, SharePoint
  • Strong consultation, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • An affinity for change management and digital agility solutions

Pay: The pay range for this position is $83,200 to $124,700. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
