Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Technology Support Manager to lead our IT support team.


This is a Full-Time Direct Hire role

The person who will be considered needs to be in the Detroit Metropolitan area

The IT Support Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the IT support team, ensuring that all IT support requests are handled efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the IT support team, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT support
  • Develop and implement IT support policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that IT support needs are met
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to IT support services
  • Monitor and analyze IT support metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure that all IT support requests are handled efficiently and effectively


Qualifications:

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a management role
  • Strong technical skills in areas such as networking, hardware, and software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have 5+ years managing or supervising associates / teams
  • Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
