Information Technology Specialist Ii

California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) is looking for an Information Technology (IT) Specialist I to serve as the Enterprise Architecture (EA) Analyst demonstrating an in-depth understanding and level of expertise of System Engineering and EA to perform a wide variety of tasks requiring regular innovative problem-solving. Travel to institutions and work activities outside normal working hours may be required due to operational need.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

· Designing, developing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining an EA program.

· Collaborating with the California EA Program to facilitate CCHCS EA alignment and
state-level integration.

· Leading projects to implement enterprise changes based on the defined business and technology future state EA through governance processes.

· Facilitating the development, publication, and compliance with CCHCS IT standards.

Desirable experience includes:

· Leading projects and teams to implement enterprise changes.

· Consulting and advising Senior Management and Executives on best EA practices.

· Working on emerging technologies and their applications to business processes.

· Working independently to plan, support and architect an enterprise-wide shared services environment strategy.

· Build and maintain IT Architecture using the EA procedures, policies, and tools.
