Job Title: IT Project Manager
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to join our team. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and executing IT-related projects. This role requires a deep understanding of managing complex projects within the infrastructure realm.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure
- Ensure on-time and on-budget project execution in IT
- Serve as the primary point of contact and liaise between project stakeholders and the project team
- Create, execute, monitor, and revise project plans to meet changing requirements and resources
- Facilitate project status meetings and manage the resolution of project issues
- Identify project resource requirements and negotiate with IT service owners on resource availability and allocation
- Lead and motivate team members to ensure timely task completion and overall team effectiveness
- Manage project procurement and consult IT resources as needed
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Monitor and report project progress to all stakeholders
- Facilitate issue identification and resolution
- Document project change requests and assess their impact
- Conduct project Lessons Learned meetings and use the results to improve project and IT processes
- Promote project management standards and best practices through mentoring and lead-by-example
- Ensure successful transition of applications or infrastructure changes to Customer and Production Support teams
- Manage project budget
Requirements:
- Must have PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- Strong experience in issue identification and resolution
- Proficient in documenting project change requests and assessing their impact
- Demonstrated ability to successfully transition applications or infrastructure changes to support teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
