Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Senior IT specialist to join our growing and successful team. Our senior specialists help us create and maintain company servers, computer programs, and data storage facilities. A successful IT specialist will possess superior communication skills with the ability to effectively gather, analyze and disseminate large amounts of information to internal teams.

Installing printers, replacing computers, troubleshooting hardware, deploying new equipment, and the like; our field technicians use their awesome problem-solving skills and IT knowledge to assist customers with their everyday needs. A well-rounded Computer Network Technician with MSP (Managed Service Provider) experience to support our clients. The position is mostly onsite support. This position is responsible for new computer setup, profile migrations, program installation, and more. You will also be managing and maintaining client networks including firewalls, switches, servers, and wiring.


IT Technician Duties:


Respond promptly to support requests from clients and internal staff regarding system support, applications support, connectivity issues, software installations, upgrades, etc., and resolves issues to minimize downtime within mission-critical systems. Perform the administrative activities associated with maintaining Windows 7/8/2008/2012/2016 servers and PCs, Active Directory as well as mobile email support.


Requirements:


* A minimum of 2 years of technical experience

* Experience with Microsoft 365 administration including exchange

* Active directory administration skills

* Ability to provide and maintain detailed documentation on each job

* Experience with routers, switches, and other networking devices

* Experience with virtual environments

* Ability to remain in contact with the client thru the completion of the incident

* Problem-solving abilities and ability to meet reasonable deadlines

* Ability to build positive and collaborative relationships

* Ability to work with little supervision and manage a team

* Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously

* Excellent listening and communications skills, both verbal and written.

* Strong customer relationship skills

* Organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated

* Recommendations:

* A+ Certification is preferred

* NET+ Certification is preferred

* Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSA) is preferred

* MSP experience is preferred
