Job Description

Mungo Homes is seeking a Network Administrator within our IT department at the Corporate office in Irmo, SC!


Responsible for maintaining and monitoring the computer systems and networks for our business. You will be tasked with solving complex technical issues, provide recommendations for improvements, and collaborate with team members across all departments to assist them with their technical requirements.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (performs other duties as assigned)

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging tools and technologies.
  • Evaluate, test, and deploy all technology upgrades to the network infrastructure.
  • Work closely with the fellow tech team members to provide end-user support and issue resolution.
  • Provide operational and troubleshooting support for Wan and LAN networks that include Cisco Meraki firewalls, switches, and access points.
  • Maintain procedures and reports that provide technical support to the entire organization.
  • Implement, tune, and manage network technology.
  • Establish accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems.
  • Analyze records and logs to spot underlying trends and potential issues.
  • Participate in business-wide meetings to provide insight into technical requirements.
  • Rack and cable equipment in corporate buildings and maintain installation documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software or hardware.

Education and/or Experience: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and 2-3 years of experience in a network administrative support role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Computer Skills:

Working knowledge, expertise, and understanding of the principles of modern software and hardware troubleshooting. This will include an understanding of Microsoft OS and application support, Mobile device platforms, as well as audio/visual equipment and applications.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• CCNA preferred, but not required
