Title: IT Ancillary Applications Associate Director

Location: Stamford, CT

Compensation: $160,000 to $210,000


Responsibilities:

  • Provides project management services for departments requiring new systems and applications. This includes needs assessment, cost benefit analysis, functions specifications, cost proposals, and conversion/support plans.
  • Assists in the selection, coordination, testing and implementation of all new systems, upgrades, and conversions.
  • Communicates with business partners during planning, design, build, and implementation phases
  • This Associate Director is responsible for managing and facilitating all IT Non-Epic Applications Projects and ongoing Support which includes GE and other various vendor Imaging Products, Clinical, Security, HR and ERP.
  • Assesses and evaluates IT Applications to assure optimum efficiency.
  • Provides leadership and continuous improvement of people, process, and tools.
  • Develops and maintains all strong working relationships with all key stakeholders including, Client Executives, Product Managers, and Resource Allocation Manager
  • Leads in the relationship with vendors and business owners
  • Directs and guides specialized resources internal and external to the company in new and complex state-of-the-art technologies
  • You will be looked upon as the primary application support resource for hospital information systems applications and oversees the flow of information and ensures that the use of information technology to support activities is appropriate to the needs of the organization
  • Manages the strategic direction and day-to-day tactical delivery of the team’s projects and support of those applications


Requirements:

  • Expertise with hospital related Applications with heavy emphasis on Imaging Applications. Example of Applications include GE and other various vendor Imaging Products, Clinical, Security, HR and ERP.
  • Strong experience managing and facilitating all IT Non-Epic Applications Projects, experienced working with Ancillary Applications
  • Excellent Communication Skills (written & verbal)
  • Experience managing and mentoring a small technical team as well as still having hands on technical involvement
  • 5 years’ experience in healthcare information systems management.
  • BA/BS in Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
