We are working with our client, Auburn Manufacturing, Inc, in seeking its first full-time Information Technology Manager, who will coordinate and participate in the development of an IT strategic plan, to be based in the Mechanic Falls, Maine location.

Requirements of the Information Technology Manager:

• Ability to commute to Mechanic Falls, Maine on Monday through Friday.
• Extensive experience in Local and Wide Area Networks, Personal computers, and Software applications
• Experience in developing IT plans and budgets
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Business, or related Subject
• 3 – 5 years of hands-on experience in Network Management and implementing IT Solutions
• Certified IT Professional with Network and Security credentials preferred.
• Experience with Macola, WISYS, Goldmine and Quoteworks preferred
• Experience in supporting information technology infrastructure, including networks, voice communications, ERP, and Cyber.

Responsibilities of the Information Technology Manager:

• Troubleshoots, resolves, and communicates networking issues to other employees and management
• Ensures firewalls, virus protection software and data security systems are adequate and current
• Provide Training and technical support to staff serving as the company “Help Desk”
• Installs, services configure and maintains hardware and software
• And much more!
• Reviews periodically department procedures, and equipment for maximum efficiency while controlling costs
• Develops an annual budget by providing justification when needed
• Maintains the security of the company’s IT systems, system failure, backup and recovery processes
