Job Description
Inside the Role
Information Technology Generalist (L6) in the E4 Test Center is Responsible for all IT support activities involved in the daily operation of various test benches, troubleshoot connectivity issues with MARC and DiagnosticLink through Vector and USBlink devices, beside setting-up, configuring, and supporting Durability and Performance computers, incl. component test hardware support, Environmental chamber support (Thermotron)
You will be required to support topics with range across both infrastructure and application support topics and contribute to all phases of the on-going projects within the Engineering Test Center Team as needed. Tasks will include but not be limited to maintaining and supporting instrumentation hardware and software, and assisting in requirements gathering, analysis, design, and testing.

Position offers a starting salary range of $74,500 - $95,000 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

What You Drive at DTNA
  • Troubleshooting and incident resolution for blue PCs, Hot gas stand hardware support and other critical endurance testing hardware
  • IT Single Point of Contact back to the Operational teams during Major Incidents
  • Documents troubleshooting Standard Work Instructions and documents repeat incidents into the Problem Management process to drive root cause analysis to avoid repeat incidents
  • Provides support for E4 Test Center IT equipment and applications
  • Escalates incidents to Level 2 and Level 3 support Application teams based on the criticality of the incident
  • Follows IT standard processes for Incident and Problem management, logging all incidents in the ticketing system (Service Now)
Knowledge You Should Bring
  • BS/BA and prefer 2-4 years of relevant experience or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • May lead on-site team or small projects or work streams within broader projects
  • An attached resume is required
  • Acts as a resource and guide for colleagues with less experience
  • Use analytical thought to independently solve problems with minimal guidance and identify solutions
  • One to three years of industrial experience in the area of on-site support and conducting of IT projects in the area of Lab system management.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge and expertise in job field and working knowledge of related disciplines
  • Use experience to contribute to standards in which others will operate
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
  • Self-reliant working style
  • General technical understanding of IT infrastructure
  • Excellent communication skill (positive, pro-active and supportive)
  • Knowledge of automotive business processes (Lab/test planning)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
